New S60 - few issues

Post by Sunapeelakers »

Hey guys, I recently bought a used 06 S60 AWD. It’s a decent car that has been neglected for a few months, but that I got pretty cheap. I have an intermittent ABS light and skid warning message issue which I think I have nailed down to a bad clock spring. The issue that’s kicking my ass is the AWD not engaging. When I don’t have the ABS light or skid warning message, I feel like AWD should be working, but it’s not. I checked the 7.5a fuse in the trunk and it was blown. I replaced it with a 10a because that’s all I had, started the car, drove around the driveway, it still doesn’t feel like AWD is engaging. I checked the fuse again, and it’s not blown... any ideas what it could be? Is the SAS being bad preventing AWD from engaging even when I don’t have the ABS light or skid warning message?
