RHS turn signals flashes fast, LHS normal

Post by Dieterly »

V70 2004; As the title says, both right hand side turn signals flashes fast and illuminating weak, however left hand side is normal. I have searched all over for a possible solution and the location of the relay but with no luck. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could point me in the right direction....

Many thanks!

Your turn signal bulb is dead. When the signal blinks fast, that's the side it's on. So if your right rear blanket is out your right front blanket will blink faster cause of a surge and its getting more power I think. But change the bulb, its either upper right hand bulb or rear right hand bulb that is out. It should of said bulb failure on the dash.... I would check to see what lights do not light up and change the bad one.

The strange thing is both the front and rear lights are flashing. Are you saying they can be partially broken and still flash?

Update, removed the front one and cleaned the contacts, that took care of problem.
