FCPEURO.COM sells everything for Volvo practically and they have a "Lifetime Warranty " on everything they sell and they cover the warranty themselves. I purchased a Bosch Fuel Pump Assembly (assembly comes with everything, not just the actual pump itself), Bosch is the "factory Genuine Volvo " fuel pump with the exception of coming in a Bosch box instead of a blue Volvo box. I'd replaced the retaining nut gasket while I had it apart.
I've been dealing with FCPEURO.COM for well over 10 years and i buy all my Volvo parts from them.

I know this thread is not about the "extended warranty" on the fuel pump (they clarified it was not a "recall")…but I'm happy to say that Volvo just replaced my fuel pump completely free of charge under what they called the cost assistance program. I'd read on forums about people having them honor the extended warranty, but the most recent I'd found was in 2017. I got it done at the start of 2020. So, if you're in this boat, it's worth a call to Volvo (not the dealer) to see if they'll honor it. The dealer X'd out the cost of $1180 for the repair (which is absurdly overpriced…but still).

The tool I made from a PVC pipe to undo and retighten the locking collar....

You have to pull the hoses from one side of the tank to the other. I used two heavy wires.

Nice fuel pump ring tool. For the record, what size was the PVC pipe?

It's about 4 1/2" OD, 4" ID. Not a perfect fit, but it gets the ring off.
