Observations and Observation questions:

1) Is the tailpipe smoke white and have a sweet smell? I couldn’t see further back from the car tailpipe in the video to see the plume. Or does it smell like gas?

2) Did the engine take off on its own and rev to a really high rpm? (You didn’t floor the pedal did you?)

3) I heard what sounds like misfires and not running on all cylinders.

4) I also heard what sounds like a backfire, for example when it died.

5) you mentioned inside lights were on because you hadn’t hooked up wiring to a door. Which door?

6) the outside temperature on the dash is dashed, indicating the ambient sensor (possibly in the right door mirror) isn’t working right.

7) I never saw your drivers side door mirror, is that intact? One ECM air temperature sensor may be in the left door mirror.

8) I see the Service Urgent message on the dash. Guessing that is due to engine light on.

9) Did you get all your Injector wiring issues fixed? Could you have reversed any wires going to an injector when you replaced the plug?

List ALL you OBD2 codes again, now that you have run the car. It looks like you have more that one problem, and it hurts me to watch and listen to that engine struggle.

Someone else feel free to jump in here...

I once came across a broken ground wire on coil which caused all sorts of issues of missing, cutting out, etc.

Curious, seeing this thread is about P0089 code, anyone have this issue. I can drive hundreds of miles and code will not come up, runs great, but every time I stop engine, the code comes up when I start engine again. I replaced fuel pressure sensor, no change. I am getting same issue with cam sensor code, replaced that as well, still seeing these two codes coming up only after shutting off and starting engine. Stumped?

Partially clogged fuel filter. Take a bit for the pump to over come the opposition to flow.

Curious, I have 05 2.5T and it runs great, but am throwing both P0089 and P0340 code every time I turn off engine and start, I clear it and can drive hundred miles with no code, only comes back after shutting down engine. I have replaced both fuel pressure sensor and cam sensor, same exact issue. Any clues. I have replaced fuel filter.
Thanks,

Strange it will only pop the codes when you turn the engine off. I would wonder if that was some electrical problem, maybe bad ground?

P0089 VOLVO Possible Causes, I suppose you have checked these?
Faulty fuel pump
Fuel line restricted
Faulty fuel pressure sensor
Fuel pressure sensor harness is open or shorted
Fuel pressure sensor electrical circuit poor connection
Faulty fuel pressure regulator

P0340 Possible Causes
Faulty Camshaft Position Sensor on Bank 1 ( Bank 1 is the side that has cylinder #1)
Camshaft Position Sensor harness is open or shorted
Camshaft Position Sensor circuit poor electrical connection
Faulty starter motor
Starting system circuit
Dead (Weak) battery
