(Still working on the stuff I found last weekend).
Looking under the car in the rear wheel well, this looks horrible. I realize this car is 25 years old, but for other parts that look good, this rubber piece seems to have totally dry-rotted.
I think this is Volvo part 9140490-5 is called the "bump rubber," or the "bumper, jounce," and runs $18.00-$30.00 depending on the dealer, even more from IPD. Other than cosmetically looking bad, are these crucial to safety? It would seem they only come into play when the car bottoms out and it strikes that metal nub above it.
