S70 T5 -- 15" wheels

I need to follow up on a previous post just to confirm. I have a 98 T5 with 16" wheels and wanted to get a softer ride with new tires and going to a 15" wheel.I just checked the rotor size on the car and it's 280mm front and 295mm rear. Will I be ok with 15" wheels?

If so, Many Volvo wheels will fit? I think I saw even a guy put 2001 V70 wheels on an S70?

What models can I be looking at? The more choices, the easier to find a set of 4. (Maybe even with some decent tires if lucky). THANKS.

I fear though, looking at this today, that finding the 15" wheels may not be that easy. Craigslist, Ebay etc have been showing nothing, I suppose maybe a salvage yard?

And, if I decide this is too much trouble, can anyone suggest the best ride I could get on a 16" tire? Just get a touring tire I guess? Recommendations?

15"s will fit fine, should be plenty available - Ariannes are possibly the most common example. There is a huge list of P80 wheel options you could easily find with a forum search, that will give you more than 4 names to look for.

Not sure if I posted this in your other thread but I've got a bunch of Cetus wheels, located in central Iowa, would give you the best four for cheap.

wow, those p80 wheels are nice. just so I can try and get something soon, what other volvo models would work? thanks
