Direct start of the parking heater

Hello and nice to meet you!

I'm having issues using the timer or the direct start option for the parking heater.
I will add a video link to exemplify it:

The parking heater works, as it heats up the car when in pure mode. I can hear it running and see the smoke.

Also the remote start doesn;t work.

Temperature 0° C ... Has the heater been running more then 50 minutes prior to trying the Direct start.

No. It's the same with negative temperatures also. This is just unlocking the car and trying to Directstart

Direct start via the information display

1. Press OK to access the menu.
2. Scroll with the thumb wheel to Parking heater and select with OK.
3. Scroll forward in the next menu to Direct start in order to activate the heater and select with OK.
4. Exit the menu with RESET.

I have done those, the issue is that preconditioning doesn;t start. As i understood there should be Directstart ON or OFF.
And I'm missing those.Tried to use the timer and same thing. It doesn;t start and there is no error message.

@RickHaleParker do you know the requirements for the preconditioning to start? can i find them written somewhere?
