2004, XC90 Parts Car?

Since my 2004 XC90 had the code pop up for the 3rd cylinder it turns out there's no compression on cylinder 3. The exhaust valve is burnt so it's not holding compression. This is according to the Volvo dealer in NH. We have already replaced this vehicle with a V8 version a few years newer. So what can I do with this car now? Can I sell it for parts here? I already tried FB marketplace and craigslist to no avail. I'm wondering tho since it has so many new/newer parts on it is it valuable to someone? One of the most recent parts is engine mounts and the blue IPD turbo air inlet hose. I'd love to find someone locally (I'm in Western MA, Near NH Border) who needs parts for theirs! Or who wants to rebuild it. I did see a post where someone was selling their car here, but it was a swanky post! I'm assuming they paid for it and I don't wanna get in trouble so I'm not selling it here, I'm simply asking if it's possible and I will be more than happy to pay for one of those kinds of listings. If I could use the parts, I'd be keeping them for my new car, but I don't think much will crossover from the 2.5T to the V8. They are totally different engine/tranny combos. Oddly enough, timing-wise, I also have a 01 V70 with a transmission on it's way out with tons and tons of spare parts. We were never planning to get rid of these cars!

i have the same problem with my 2k4 xc90 with 2.5t, low compression on #3 cylinder dealer said chipped valve, and not sure what to do with car as well. mine has 215k miles on it

I'm sorry to hear yours has issues as well! Mine has 243 I believe on the odo.

Hope there's a good solution for yours!
