Must have of you're not doing more than 85 at 3000. Someone around here probably has a proper list..

Also the actual drivetrain gearing must be different since wheel circumference differs. Else it'd be the other way around.

Something the XC does have that makes me want one though is the 40/20/40 rear seat folding, the V70 only came with 60/40.

Can those seats be retrofitted and swapped, or is there cutting and welding of brackets and painting?

Congratulations on your trip!

Your driver's seat lack of lumbar support might be due to the wire that runs from side to side in the seat detaching from where it is fastened to the seat frame. Here is a thread on thatwith great pictures:

I also need to address this myself.

You mentioned white slop on the windscreen after running the climate control to the windscreen in a fog. Was the slop on the outside of the windscreen? If it was on the inside, then I would investigate to see if there is a small coolant leak in the climate system, otherwise, if it is not still happening, then perhaps you had a small spill of ATF during the top up?

Yes, the slop was all outside. No fogging issues. Combination of freezing fog, blowing snow, wet spray off the road, trucks in front of me, and maybe some liquid de-icer, I don't know. It was good to get it washed as soon as we got home.
