I think I’m not level coming up, Last one I did just popped up, but that was years ago. I didn’t find a lot of documentation on this here, so that will get fixed , too.

Erik has pointed out that the cams should come up with the cover so I will wire them up and use my cam tool In the rear as a lock/ handle.

Chisel edge as a wedge not as a pry bar and Tack hammer (Low mass). Just keep in mind the objective is to split the liquid gasket not pry the cover off.

I opened the front door to snooty cold rain but caught the draft of fear from the Volvo a few doors away

It knew it would yield to my efforts if I could conquer the weather

Ten minutes later the idiocy was conquered.

+1 to the 3/8" or 1/2" drive idea, I always use extensions. Once 3/8" leaves too much of a gap, I go to 1/2". Just twist and pry on those spots and it should eventually work its way up.

Haha, every time I pull one of these, there's always that one bolt that I miss!

Nice job Steve. And I'm sure you bought the Costco size bottle of bleach, right? Btw, you fit right into the surroundings with that shirt. Winter Camouflage so to speak :D

My fingers and heart were warmed by the screech of the yielding head bolts -

These things were up around 200 ft lb of torque to break them. Brothers and Sisters, get your sharp socket, six point, on WELL before pulling on these. How will I ever measure 130 degrees of angle torque, he wonders?
