CarPlay

Post by Red1 »

Hi

I recently purchased my first Volvo
Its a 2018 xc60 mk2

Does anyone know if I can get a software update for CarPlay in an OBD plug in like Mercedes does.

I’m frustrated Iv paid so much to find out the dealer wants £350 for a simple hour download and changing the USB port to a twin usb module
This should be standard

Any help appreciated

Thank you

Not standard on 2018s in England? Hm. It was standard here on 2018 XC60s.
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link
. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

A $5 USB splitter doesn’t work? Or CarPlay requires that solo direct signal from phone?

Thanks for your posts it’s looking like I will have to pay the dealership the £300 if I want it
It’s unfair considering what I paid for the car

My ford Transit limited came with it and my previous VW Touran also ☹️
