Engine overheat
Hi.Havent been here in a while.Ive just ran the engine slightly over operating temperature and pulled over immediately .Right when car came to a halt it stalled.ive overheated before and when it happened my driver wasn't watching the guages and it got driven a bit after overheating and blew the head gasket and warped the head and I get that...lost compression cut out ,no start. So this time it stalled right at stop.nothing over the next line up from normal maybe slightly higher, this I know .I turned on ignition after it stalled to check temp and it was all the way in red and engine had steam/ smoke coming from right side.(turbo side). Tripping on it being in red after car shut off.....haven't tried to start it ,waiting on battery to charge, hazards drained it.Sitting wondering if you can blow a head gasket if gauge went red after car stopped running!!! Thoughts are appreciated.

The coolant temp sensor was reading wrong since coolant was so low.
