Hi, have a 240 2.3 1990. I spend 3 days searching the MAP sensor, but i didnt find it... I read manuals, diagrams... nothing... can somebody help? Thanks a lot

Why would you be looking for a MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor on a 1990 240?

jajajajajaja please tell me this model use this!!! Really?? Dont use MAP this model? Why in the parts online shop say me this MAP its working?

In US, Volvo used

1982 B21F Bosch LH 1.0 / 2.0
1983-1984 Bosch LH 2.1
1985-1989 Bosch LH 2.2
1989-1993 Bosch LH 2.4
1990-1993 Bosch LH 3.1

LH 2.3 - "... Porsche 928 from the 1987 model year until the car ceased production in 1994. Earlier cars, LH equipped, such as the Euro S2 (84 -’86) and the US market early 32v (’85 – ’86) used the LH 2.2 system."

Please cite this online site where your 240 Volvo has a LH 2.3.

Bosch's LHs used an AMM (MAF)....MAF and MAP are not the same. Is yours a LH 2.4 or LH 3.1?

HI, LH 2.4 115cv CAT. My car have MAF. I didnt know i dont have MAP... b ut... i cant understand that this part shows like its fit on my car... should be wrong...

My car is from Switzerland.

Hi RIck, thanks a lot. I spend almost days looking in that place, but i didt see nothing... its possible the MAP was inside of the wheel way? unnnder the metal? Becouse i count all the rubber house. In the intake manifold only goes two tubes, and goes to the air filter on the front left wheel...

I believe for the acces to the MAP its under the road pass, and i need disassemble wheel arch?

Looks like it is at same location as the Ignition coil.
