Hello gentleman and ladies,
I (think) rescued a 98 GLT that was headed to the junk yard . $450 with 133k. Needs a radiator, struts, and most likely a whole bunch of other stuff that I don't know about yet. The price was right. I have to check the timing belt after I get it running and the radiator in.
I was wondering if all the oil connections (oil and trans) get the same o rings and clips. Anyone have any advise on a purchase of them all at once or individual?
Working on getting some of the dash lights out.
Thanks for your help in advance.

Welcome to the madness!
IPD and FCP are two of our forum sponsors, I use FCP for parts as they are east coast and so I get my overnight fix.
The Volvo web stores run by dealers are excellent too, and have full blow ups of the systems.
I think the trans and oil cooler o rings are different.

I use a zip-tie over the clamp for security. Does the de as a close. Always check the orientation of the pipe clips. One side has a narrower edge
Fitting wrong way around will prevent it fully pull into the slot and it will blow off.

Zip ties or hose clamps over the connections are good for extra security, that's how I had mine on my '98.
I'm pretty sure FCP sells them in a kit, but here are some diagrams that show the parts. From a quick look, I think the o-rings and clips may be the same for all the lines, but check the pages for yourself to make sure.

Thanks for the info gentlemen and bmdubya1198. It appears in the diagrams, (correct me if I'm wrong) that they are all the same Retainer clips 6842411 and the same Turbo o rings, 6842413 and 6842414. The only thing I see odd is that the bottom transmission line only gets one (3) o ring. The other trans line and both oil lines get 2 o rings 6842413 and 6842414. If I'm reading it right. I'll have to see what's in the kit. Looks like turbo uses retainers and non-turbo use snap locks?
Thanks again

Clips are all the same, there is only one kind. I wouldn't replace these unless they are badly deformed. Zip ties are perfect here, easiest way to get total backup protection.
O-rings and sealing rings (the thicker, clear one) are also the same for all four hose connections to the radiator. There is not a different o-ring count on the lower trans cooler line.
Snap-locks are for later model setups, look at your car to be sure but I've never seen them on a 98. Just post a pic of the hose plugged into the rad if you are unsure.

Those diagrams are tricky to sort out sometimes. I read that as showing there are two types of hoses
Slide locks use a single o ring on the top and bottom - total of two
The Squeeze lock type use two rings, top and bottom , total of four
Do you see the way each hose has a heavy dotted line that branches into two different style hoses and clips?
Strategy - order six of each and then put the spares in your toolbox for the day it rains ATF.
You can find the sizes here, if you don't want to pay Volvo parts pricing

Slide lock (metal clips) uses one o-ring and one thicker sealing ring per connection. So to add to abscate's numbers,
Slide locks use a single o ring on the top and bottom - total of two
Slide locks use a single sealing ring on the top and bottom - total of two
That's for the trans lines. Then repeat the whole thing for the oil cooler lines.
I've never seen anything but slide locks on 95-98 P80 cars.

I think both wcm's 1999 XC70 and Evita the 1999 S70 have Squeeze locks?
So maybe a transition thing for the 1999 year?
# Volvo fake news ?
