98 v70 xc rear right window not working, but motor is good
January 2019 was when I got this junk white car (see signature). I had plans to put all new parts in it and get it back on the road. I decided to not keep it, so before the owner came back to get it, I cut ALL driver window control wiring to sell the control later with harnesses. I got the car back for $50. I was hoping the RR window motor on white door worked because the one on my black one seemed to not work. A week or so ago, I finished the door swap (removed my black doors for the junk car white ones). I spent about 2 hours total wiring ALL driver window wires. At the end, I tested them. I accidentally wired the FL and RR together. RR switch roles the RR down but the FL switch rolled the RR up. My mind was BLOWN, now I have a working RR! But NO! I corrected it and now the RR doesn't work. AGAIN! what could it be? The wiring or the window controls? Can't be the motor can it? Help please!

I can be a few thinks but I would try checking these:
1) Door switch on RR is bad or dirty contacts in that switch
2) Master switch on driver's door for the RR has a bad switch or dirty contacts
3) There is a broken wire at the pass through from the door to the 'A' pillar that controls the RR window
4) There is a broken wire in the right 'B' pillar to RR door.
Using a continuity tester should help identify this.
Good Luck,
Neil.

That was very helpful. Thank you! I'll try that.scot850 wrote: ↑28 Feb 2020, 15:52 I can be a few thinks but I would try checking these:
