I’m looking at a second s70 to use as a donor/Frankenstein.

Are there any big differences between a 99 glt and a 2000 glt se?

Can't think of much if anything. The SE was a 'special edition' which just had some options fitted as standard, or in the case of mine had no moon roof!

Some 99-00 models could have changes like the base model (non-turbo) changed from a 4 speed to 5 speed auto. 'R' models went to a 1 year only rear brake option, and some AWD models could have changes to the prop-shaft.

Can't think of anything else. Other's like abscate may know if there is anything they have come across.

I think you will have Exhaust VVT on both cars, new style ignition switch on the 2000, and Prince didn't care about the 2000.

The seller was kind enough to share the Product Identification Plate. The important parts match up except the codes are different for the “front suspension spring and strut code”
A quick check of a few websites shows that the strut assemblies are interchangeable so I am guessing they might have used a strut with different specifications but still interchangeable.
