Chances are the seller has already gotten his money back out of the V70R in SF, he pretty much admitted it. Nothing wrong with that, $6.5k for the mileage is pretty good, but salvaged title dampens the mood, even if it was super minor. I wouldn't pay over 4k for it. It's a pretty crusty representation of one of the VR's. No doubt it will sell for $6ish, but it'll need plenty of tinker-time.

I'll never understand why people leave the carpet floor mats in their cars, regardless of the season.

Unbearable stench should make you utterly miserable and force to buy a new car with new carpet mats in about 3-4 years.

Here's a 2005 M66-swapped V70 R currently on BaT. It's a flip from a previous BaT auction where it went for $16.2k just four months ago :shock:

Buyers remorse set in awful fast with that one.

I recall those leakdown & compression numbers were, um, suspicious. The guy that sold that a few months back didn’t even own the car a full year & he bought it for something ridiculous like $16.9 in 2019.

A factory M66 is a future collectors' car. A DIY swapped one is not. I don't understand these $16k valuations at all.
