2010 xc60 piercing sound

Anyone heard this before? Another symptom that is new is if you are sitting in park and blip the throttle it will hold at 2000rpm until you blip it again or put it in gear. That happening is not consistent though. This morning it was 50 degrees and the squeal is not as loud as the video. Maybe a vacuum leak of some kind, especially with the odd throttle response? There is no check engine light and no engine codes.

With engine idling and squealing, pull the dipstick out a few inches to see if it tops. If it does the crankcase breather assembly on top of engine has a failed diaphragm in the crankcase pressure regulator device.

So, I am thinking that I can put a zip tie on the dip stick to hold keep it from sealing to vent the vacuum, and not damage the engine so I can get it home?
