P2 lift kit and engine wire harness

There's a Volvo fellow on ebay who does a hand made mild lift kit for S60/V70/XC70 P2 that does not kill CV joints:

The kit is cheaper, fits better (strut mount bearing spacer is CNC-machined) and has more subframe spacers than in other kits.

He also makes a very affordable replacement engine harnesses, for 2.4T and 2.5T:

Any idea if one of the harnesses will work on 1999 v70R 2.3 engine? I have VVT with new connector. Perhaps 2.4?

Does it have same coil packs like 2.4T/2.5T engines use? I would say "yes" then.

What engine designation is it? I can look in EWD if the colors match.

That would be an easy install as well.
A lot like how the hillbilly’s do body lifts to their old trucks.

I have a similar lift kit installed in my XC70 (made myself, but the principles are similar). Love it!

In fact, with the lift and BFG KO2's it is hands down better in snow than my new Tundra TRD Offroad, which is a joke: "offroad" in Tundra is just a sticker.

That Russian kit looks good enough to tempt me into doing it.

Are you sway bars bigger than stock?

Not sure on engine designation, but it has same coil packs as 2.5 and 2.5 engines.

With the springs settled down in a few days:

In action:

I'm going to upgrade rubber from stock 215/65R16 to 235/70R16, lift should allow that.

Sway bars are XC90/front and V70R/rear. The car was also converted to Nivomats.

It will fit if you dare to trace wires to coil packs in case the colors do not match.

What about VVT solenoid? Same connector? Or you can reuse your old one.

I have this type connector for VVT and I assume I can reuse it.
Also, I got this info from his ebay add: "Please check and inform the type of solenoid connector when ordering" so I guess he can attach correct connector?
