Send me some pictures by pm and I can post
I don’t know VVIS at all but cruise control has vacuum operated stuff, you might have an air pump on this car which lives under the battery tray, too.

Currently my cruise control isn't working, which i hope is solved once i figure out this vacuum issue. I will post more pictures as soon as possible, I want to confirm my lines before changing things.

So you won't have A or K as featured in the diagram. I don't have them, they're part of the exhaust gas recirculation system. You definitely have a VVIS system.
The vacuum setup under the battery tray is the cruise control module and should have one vacuum hose that is hardlined with rubber ends.
You can drive without the VVIS.
The module on the side of the air filter box is labeled "I" in the diagram I supplied.
I actually deleted my vacuum reservoir on my car. The vacuum reservoir helps to suck the VVIS flaps closed under about 2500 rpms. I didn't see the point in buying a new one. So I have "J" hooked to "I" directly and "I" directly to "B." This omits the need for: G, H and the connector T. I also replaced the hard lines with generic rubber vacuum lines which even if you replaced them every year for 20 years would still be cheaper than the OEM Volvo hardlines.
If I posted a video on YouTube walking you though the routing of the lines would that help you out?

It certainly wouldn’t hurt, I’m thinking one of my items had been deleted in the past as well, there are zip ties around the two lines that run to the lower vacuum canister and the charcoal canister.
If you did post a YouTube video you may be the only one who’s done a walkthrough video for vvis. I considered doing one myself if I could figure it out. It would be much appreciated.

These are photos from my vehicle. Every time i pass a volvo driving down the road Im thinking ill ask them to pull over and look at their vacuum lines. haha
No lines running up towards underneath the hood latch/in front of the radiator like i saw in other posts.
Again i have three lines running south towards the bottom of the vehicle. I think those are correct, however there may not be enough of them. There are exposed nipples
on the object in the photo and down there as well. Still looking for that item labelled "vacuum tank"

Photos are much better than video as:
Higher resolution
Easier to view
Smaller to archive
No Scotty Kilmer background noise
One day, YT will monetize the content and it will no longer be visible here.

It does, yes
Just add a link to the video like this (the [added] text prevents the link from being resolved to show the context)
And Robert has a video of the process here:
