Yo everyone!
Gave Helga some love today. I was knee-deep in replacing vacuum lines, evap hoses, coolant and turbo connections and hoses, intake hoses and gaskets today when I got a bee in my bonnet over how FILTHY everything under this hood is. It's disgusting. So I took some of the components I've removed to the cleaners.
Check it out and enjoy!

Looks great. Nice curves! What method did they use to clean it all up?

BTW, as a thank you to everyone who has helped me sort out Helga, PM me and I can clean something up for you, just like I did with the parts on this car. You pay for shipping and I'll do it up perfectly for a very blue collar price. Like, say, $50 for an intake manifold or similiarly sized, $20 for something like a fuel rail, throttle body, injector rail, etc.

Hmmm, just broke this. It is attached to the turbo with two out of three vacuum lines, and the third, I'm not sure - everything broke when I pulled it off to inspect it. I cannot blow through it. The broken nipple you see was attached via vacuum line to the turbo location in the photo. Which solenoid is this one? It does not look like the purge valve, that shiny nipple underneath the electrical connector was also attached to the turbo, underneath.

You see all that crust in those vacuum and pressure lines? Those all need to be replaced.
