Well the Chinese have started first human trials of a vaccine. 105 (?) healthy people of different ages with 3 levels of strength of the vaccine. They still then say that the time to market is 6 months from proof of trial.

Yes, migration brought about changes, but inhabitants remaining within a region for a period of time may/will have common characteristics specific to them.

Since Italians are being hit hard, is there something in their genetics which affects them more. Speculation, btw.

35% of Italy's population is 55 or over. 1 out of 5 is 65 or over.

55-64 years: 13.29%
65 years and over: 21.69%
