'04 V70 stuck in park

I went out to go to work the other morning and when I went to drive away I went to shift and realized that my shifter would not move at all. Brakes engage and I hear a click come from the shift knob. I know that its not brakes engaging. Im having issues finding a shift lock override switch as well and seemingly I am not finding a single video related to SLO switch on my specific model or V70s in general. I parked on somewhat of an incline and the weather is cold out currently where I live. Could either of these play a part? I am not sure how to diagnose the exact issue. and currently my vehicle is stuck in the drive way and I am not sure what to do

on An incline the park procedure is ...

1, Bring car to stop with foot brake, maintain pressure
2 Apply parking brake
3 select P on shifter
4 release foot brake

I would guess 95% if Us Drivers either skip 2 or reverse 2 and 3

The park pressure On the pawl will make the shifter stick on an incline

The car is in coronavirus lockdown mode.
im not familiar with auto cars but the same thing will happen with a manual car you release the pressure by pressing the clutch, with an auto you may need to tow the vehicle to release the pressure on the park gearing?
