When my V70 died on me unexpectedly I replaced it with a 1996 Ford Ranger. Ever since I've been looking for a website with support like this one since the one i joined is awful. Nobody ever answers posts unless its some of ridiculous reply like "why do you need to know that"?
Anyhow I have two purposes for this post.
1) If you don't already realize it, this website is awesome. People are extremely knowledgeable, questions get answered quickly, people help each other out and most of all almost all the time people are just plain nice to each other. I didn't really realize that until I joined a forum for my truck which is pretty much useless.
2) I figure someone out there may have a older ford ranger since they are extremely reliable little trucks and you need something to haul all your Volvo parts around. So, if you have a ranger can you recommend a decent forum that is actually useful. This question is sort of Volvo related since Volvo was owned by Ford for awhile. If you don't buy that refer to 1).
Help a former V70 brother out w/ recommendation

I have a '77 Ford F350 truck. When I have questions, generally I just search until I found someone with a general answer to a similar question. No specific website known except 460ford.com That is not likely to help you with your little Ranger.
Actually, my truck is also a Ranger - Ford F350 Ranger (trim) Camper Special.

When I was ready to dump the T5 in 2013 at 140k, I found this site. 7 years 110k later, and three more Volvo’s more, all because of the support I can get here populated by ladies, gentlemen, and Bmdubya and his Girl Miata.

therangerstation.com is about the only one that I spend any time on if I need anything for my '89, but to be honest, I haven't been there much.
A Google search may prove to be more helpful than trying to ask on a forum. I usually wind up with several posts to investigate for whatever info I'm looking for.

I use google extensively and generally it hasn't helped - especially for the electrical problem I'm having. therangerstation is the site I joined. There are two or three people on there that are knowledgeable but they rarely answer my quastions. I've got an easy question that's been posted for days with no resposes. Anyhow, I was hoping that maybe there is something better out there.Chuck W wrote: ↑23 Mar 2020, 06:22 therangerstation.com is about the only one that I spend any time on if I need anything for my '89, but to be honest, I haven't been there much.
