I guess this just goes to show Volvo owners are intelligent and courteous.
Not being political here, but its something that's possible in the near future.

The damage to the economy and people will take a long time to recover from, and it's certainly no small price to pay... but worth it to prevent a total collapse of our medical system? Hard to know for sure. No economy, no healthcare... but no healthcare, no economy.

In ballparks, 8.2 (eight point two) million. Currently, there are four large scale medical treatments afoot by WHO using approved medications for other ailments.

That lawyer's opinion, if considered seriously and engaged before next election, will have political consequences.

On March 19 I wrote this: "I just hope enough people can afford not to work for extended periods. If not, or people just get impatient in general, this will take over and cause a large death toll, no matter what".

So the administration is now already saying they will be suggesting to sacrifice millions of Americans who worked hard all their lives in favor of 'the economy' when certainly the wealthiest country on earth could afford to protect its weakest at least as well as China can? These are our mothers and fathers we are talking about, and then some.

I suspect that lawyer was voicing an opinion....but see what happens in next several weeks. States can control lock-downs...

On other news,

"But bit by bit, over time, its RNA will change. Until one day, not so far in the future, it will be just another one of the handful of common cold coronaviruses that circulate every year, giving us a cough or sniffle and nothing more."

I may have posted before on this topic, but Chinese scientists say there’s a second, more dangerous coronavirus strain, and tonight on evening news, a UK professor suggested there are different versions of it called lineages.

From news reports, some people get hit hard, and others, not so hard. So, it appears more than one lineage is afoot.

Keep in mind that people like Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick will get first class medical treatment if affected. So, when choosing between "we the people" and "elites," we the people would be taken off the ventilator, etc. Its going on today with coronavirus testing...them first when a shortage exists.

Guys: stay at home if you can, and only go out if you have to.

I am telling you: in Spain we thought we had a quite good health system. Now it is collapsed, with people needing to be in hospital telling to go home, just because there are no beds for everyone. In hospital there are only so many respirators, so they havo to choose to which person asign it to: if you have previous diseases, or you are old, probably the respirator will go to someone considered to have a higher chance of surviving. People at the hospital is already working overtime, and they are getting infected too, so manpower is decreasing and situation is worsening quite fast.

The risk of this virus is the expansion rate more than it's severity. Only a small percentage need intensive care, but that small proportion of a huge population is already to big for the ammount of beds in intensive care. Even the morgues are collapsed. This is no joke!

In addition: if someone needs to give birth, or requires an appendectomy, or has a broken bone, or needs a few stitches due to a stupid bicycle crash... it's going to be tough to find any attention at the hospital.

Stay at home.

Unfortunately, this above tweet is alarmist B.S. spread from a failed 2016 presidential candidate. Listen to the experts.
