Can I ask how old your car is and if you live in an area with salted roads? My brake dust shields are almost non existent

Order able as new parts for about $70 per side, by the way. If my 1998s are good I can give you those.

3516883 3516884 part numbers for rear

Bit of a pig in the poke job, though, the wheel hubs have to come off to get plate on unless one gets 'creative'

On the front, there is a skinny bit you can cut and sneak them off/on without hub removal.

1999 V70 R 212K , Car has been whole live in IL area. I Got his car 3 months ago so I'm not sure if they were replaced or not. But after looking at old brake shoes, I would say they are original.

I did spray paint them with out removing the shields. They came out ok. I should have take the photo but all is assembled now.

Seagull, I thought those were Albatrosses. Or maybe millstones. They do double duty as anchors when they don't start. And they lay down a nice smokescreen of blue haze behind courtesy of the two stroke mixture.

Ive dunked my Nissan 4HP four times into salt water - once had to retrieve it in 10 feet by diving, attaching and winching it up.

It still runs great.

My dad had a silver century seagull for a while back in the 70s. I don't remember that it started reliably.
