And to think, I thought I had a good start finding one carb.
Way to go!

You're busy putting together all those important virus stats.

Old & Busted....

These were lifesavers - all the notes and sketches I made taking it apart. So many little shims and tabbed washers.

These are interesting. The now recommended way to do this is not the original bushing, but a spherical bearing. Tougher, lasts longer, allows some tiny misalignment of the two big ends of the "dogbone" crossmember mount. I had a real start because after I cranked down this 27mm nut, I worked the arm to distribute the grease around. Very tight, I thought I made a mistake and bound it up. Then it let go and moved more easily, but pivoted / changed angle on the bolt shaft!! OH NO, I've totally screwed up the shim layers!! Nope, it's that spherical bearing allowing rotation. When both arms are bolted together at the ball joint, everything will be square. WHEW!

Found all the brake calipers......rebuilt probably 15 years ago, sealed in bags, stored in the dark....... Master cylinder goes under the floor - floor-mounted pedals on this car. Maybe I shouldn't use these brand new 15 year old rubber hoses.....

I made two of the 6 SU carb gaskets I need. The first is not pretty.but the second was better. Both should work.

Cool machine.

I made another SU carb gasket. It is a crude process.
