S70 Volvo Front Wheel Alignment

Post by carlos »

 I need to get a front wheel alignment on my 98 S70. I called a local mechanic and he says that it will cost me $49-$59 if there is no complications. I called the Volvo dealear and they say it will require a 4 wheel alignment and it will cost $125. Will it hurt any if I just get the front wheel alignment? Also, does anyone know who manufactures Volvo parts? Thanks in advance to all.

Which parts?

Example: Continental manufactures belts, tires etc, while Bosch makes O2 sensors, spark plugs, many other electronic parts.

As far as brakes and rotors go (this is a pure guess) I think Volvo makes there own stuff. I know that Volvo rarely (never) recommends that there rotors be resurfaced, so that tells me that there are a "special" design. Did I mention that this is a pure guess :?
