If we practice social distancing could you help my fill my AC?

We could do that out here but it’s hike.

2.5 hours from Boston to my place for an NA

I do have a place you can stay for an overnight.

Will FCP let you counterpickup parts?

Lol yeah it's ok Im gonna have my indie do it. I have all the parts including the evaporator.

I'm actually wondering if I can swap the evap but not connect it. I could probably get everything done in a day if I'm effectient, but I'm down to one car so I might need to wait to put the compressor on until I'm ready to go to the indie to fill it. Would doing that for a day or two potentially contaminate the evap?

a few days will be fine, and if you replace the accumulator drier you can wait almost indefinitely

That’s part 9187629 and theRein one is under $20

Well I finished replacing all of her cooling hoses, including the two for the turbo. I started last weekend and had them all done in a couple of hours. But I wasn't aware of the two small copper washers that are between the turbo housing and the banjo bolt. I wanted to use new ones and couldn't find anything off the shelf so basically the whole job was shut down for a week because of two $ 0.12 washers ( down from $ 0.13 ) being shipped from IDP :( ( As a side note - Those same washers cost $ 1.00 ea. from FCP. Quite a difference :? )

You can reuse Copper Crush Washers IF you resurface them. Lay sandpaper on a hard flat surface. Work the surface of the washer on the sandpaper until it is flat again. Do both sides. I prefer 600+ wet. It takes more elbow grease but you get a better surface.

Good to know. Of course now I have 10 more on hand in case they pop up somewhere else, like maybe the other banjo bolts...

Don't put them where you won't lose them. Do put them where you won't forget them.

I installed a new radio in my S70. It's so nice being able to now watch a movie while driving!
