Programming ABS?

I've mentioned in another thread that my car was having problems. Well, it's been at the shop for the past two weeks.

One problem was that while trying to flush the brakes, they weren't getting any fluid out of one of the ABS ports. So my mechanic got a used ABS unit and installed it and fluid flowed freely. However, it's giving error messages.

My mechanic called Volvo and they said that the ABS unit has to be "programmed" and of course, they want a ton of money to do that and insist that I need a new ABS unit for $1,400.

So, is something that I can do with Vida/Dice?

Not with the downloaded VIDA. Yagger maybe able to fit you up.

Hmmmmm . . . this poses more questions. I'm now wondering if the electronic control module for the ABS could be moved from one unit to the other. I'm guessing that it is the mechanical part of my ABS that has gone bad.

Who is Yagger and how would he "fit me up"?

If you have a DiCE. Yagger can reprogram over the internet.
