I recently bought a s60r in passion red and want to get rid of the black trim that is fading out on the back front and sides of the car. I'd like to make them passion red, like ive seen done on some S60r's but not sure how its done via wrap or paint? Anyone know where i could get vinyl wrap to match or something other than expensive touch up paint?

2004 came with black body cladding. The rest of the P2 Rs came with paint color. You could swap that.
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link

The faded black plastic does get tiresome to look at. A cheaper way is to restore it. Does yours have the "stretch marks" or "zebra stripes"? Sometimes if its gotten to that point getting those out doesn't always work. But if they are faint you can have good results.

Here is what I've used on a few of our cars that have the ugly faded black plastic.

Definitely want to tape off adjacent painted/glass. I've had great results with it on faded stuff. It lasts longer than the wipe-new stuff from walmart. I like to do the plastic "tray" underneath the windshield wipers also.

Do you know if you have to remove the interior do panels to take it off or does it just pop out from the outside?

I haven’t tried the doors, but I believe they are just adhesive. The fronts just pop off. Sides first, then middle (If yours has a middle). Use a non-marring pry tool. Rears on a sedan I’m not sure on.
