Hi all, new to the forum here. Just am wondering how to reset the battery monitor sensor after you replace the battery. The dealership kept telling me only they or people who have VIDA can do it or it'll cause all sorts of problems, like currently my start/stop not working at all (the button light does come on) is due to the battery issue - the dealer said if you put 3rd party battery without the dealer's resetting it then you can still drive but you will have limited functions and you'll have to replace the battery every year, etc...
Did a search on the topic here but the models seem to be a bit older than mine so I don't know if just disconnect the negative terminal for 10 minutes will do the trick on my cars...
Thanks.
