need rackless 850 roof trim PN's

I'm considering just spending the money. The thought of just snapping them on and having them look good for another 10 years is kind of appealing. Maybe when I get actual prices I may decide that electrical tape looks pretty good after all. Not a fan of the polished aluminum.

There seem to be two possible part number pairs:

9159490 / 9159491

or:

9151675 / 9151676

Volvo Parts Webstore compatibility checker says both will fit my 1996.

If your trim is still in good shape,
PlastiDip may be an option.
Maybe powdercoat?
Just get new clips,
and off ya go.

If I have to DIY I was thinking maybe of heatshrink tubing. It has the right level of sheen and holds up really well in the weather.

Thanks, I think that's the 9151675 / 9151676 ones? They're cheaper.

These were not available new in 2018

Has that changed ?

Vendors showing " in stock" is meaningless information in this supply chain.

Getting closer to pulling the trigger on these. Volvo parts webstore will let me put them in a cart, if they're able to deliver (or not) I'll update this thread.

I really hope I don't have to try that heat shrink idea I mentioned a few posts up. It seems like the right kind of plastic, though.
