Help! Hands Free Kit

Post by cstid »

:? I have a 2000 Volvo S80. When I got the car new, my company paid for a hands free kit to be installed. I have used this item for some time now, but have finally had to change cell phones, and the kit no longer fits the new phone.

I want to remove the kit, but am told it is expensive. So, all I want to do it remove the mount for the hands free part, located on the passenger side dash, which is angled. (And maybe the cover for the radio) How do I remove these peices??? Any site you can direct me to for process??

Any help greatly appreciated :!:

that would depend on what kit, and how it's mounted.

It is a handsfree kit for a Nokia, and is located just to the left of the radio source button. I have no idea what brand the kit is....It is mounted on a bracket. I really just want th ebracket removed.

that's kinda what I'm getting at -- how the bracket attaches is specific to the kit. Can you take a pic, perhaps? It's just a matter of seeing how it attaches, and how to remove it.
