So does anyone know how compatible different ECC units are ? I believe in later years, not very, but not sure about earlier years. I might be in need of one, and I'm wondering how specific I have to be if I get one from a wrecking yard.
Sveedy is a '96, and I think there is a '95 in the yard.
Thanks all !

Re: Compatibility of ECC units
RickHaleParker would have answer to your question.
Earlier versions from '93-'95 will not work properly in your '96(probably will not even work).
The best way is to find ecc unit with same numbers like yours(part number).
Same year and same part number.
'97 would probably work fine which would have the same part number.
So...i guess that you will need ecc from '96 or '97.

Re: Compatibility of ECC units
Well doesn't that just figure. I couldn't find an answer in repeated searches, so I just went to e-bay and saw them listed ' 93 - '97.
I am hoping I don't need one, but I have no power at the low pressure switch. Would you happen to know how I can bench test the AC relay ? Seems like the only other thing between the ecc and the switch. And yes - I did check the fuse this time
