There are two small coolant hoses bridging the hard metal pipes from the turbo to each other, and the other heater hose also attaches back off the water pipe. The don’t like being disturbed too much,so replacing on head work is smart. Not too many other places to leak on driver side.

We have quite a few MVS folks in eastern PA if you need a hand with stuff , too.

It's not leaking anymore.

I did not replace anything- I just can't find the leak now. When I poured the coolant back into the system after the drain it was trickling out, definitely noticeable.

My only guess is that I filled it too quickly, causing an overflow and with the cover the coolant came out on the driver side? I drove it today with no loss of coolant (I have the cover off). I have cardboard under the car looking for leaks. I drained the coolant and refilled and drove short trips around with no leaks. I'm at a loss. I'll post updates as the week goes, taking it to work tomorrow, 8 miles each way.

Ah , yes. The cover has fooled many of us by letting leaks show their face somewhere else
