O2 sensor terminal

how to disconnect O2 sensor socket? It is in a such inaccessible place. I cannot find a release tab.

These release by pulling the plastic colored part (purple, OEM) up away from the connector, then sliding the connector apart. Its hard to figure out what slides out of what on these, so make sure you aren't pulling on parts that don't separate.

...ITs not uncommon to find someone has spliced in a cheap one and butchered the wiring , too.
