I was working as design engineer for oil field service equipment. I had likely driven my first Volvo to work - a 1975 orange 245 manual 4 speed with K-Jetronic fuel injection.

I was scrapping rust off of and slapping Bondo on to a 1975 Saab 99, my first true car love.
