Need roof hatch "bezel" that secures the roof lining

Finally got around to replacing the roof hatch (dropping in the whole thing cheaper than the one unobtainable part...). Except the plastic, flocked "bezel" that goes around it got broken into pieces during removal. Don't even have all the pieces.

Looks like crap and the roof lining is falling down. Using some binder clips to tryto to hold it in place in the front.

The inside profile is complicated, I can't just use any old "L" shaped channel. And the corners are a bit rounded.

Look on the back side of the bezal for a Volvo part number.

Are you referring to the sunroof trim? I don't know that it's still available from Volvo, but take a look on parts.volvocarslisle.com. Their diagrams are easy to navigate.

Yes, the sunroof (actually "roof hatch" in Volvo parts jargon) trim. Its a rectangle that fits around the edge of the hole, looks like it was snapped in.

I don't think its listed under "sunroof" parts; and the interior trim is a nightmare to navigate to find an exploded diagram.

I believe it's #9 in this diagram. Unfortunately I think that part is NLA. I'll check VIDA for the number, it's possible somebody still has it.

New old stock: Genuine Volvo Sunroof Trim 9193482. US $69.80 + Shipping: $7.90 = $77.70. Only one left, move fast before somebody else reading this grabs it.

Else: go to a salvage yard and find a good find from any P80. All the P80s sunroofs are the same.

That's IT !!! grabbed the one on ebay. Thank you, guys.

Now, how do I install it? Have to somehow keep the roof lining fabric pulled taught while I snap it in ?

Anybody have their gas line chewed thru by rodents? Not driving at all for several weeks & a couple weeks ago I found my gas tank nearly empty & my driveway now needs seal coating. Well, it needed cleaning & sealing anyway.

Ouch, that sucks. Haven't had that happen fortunately, hopefully it stays that way!

Glad you were able to grab that one. I think you should be able to install it without dropping the headliner, but I'm not 100% sure. Just carefully bend it on the long sides as needed and pop it into place.

The edges of the headliner around the opening are drooping. Don't know if I should tack it up with some spots of glue or something, otherwise I might have "bubbles" right next to the moulding piece.

Maybe use some rubber cement; I have that and thinner, make up a runny solution and stick the headliner all the way around the edge...
