The Typical Odometer Issue
Hello there, so I am a new, proud owner of a 1994 Volvo 850 Turbo. I bought the car with a broken odometer. I recently decided to change the odometer gear, but this did not fix my issue. Whenever I reset the trip gauge on the odometer and drive the car, it looks as if it hesitates to move, but stays stuck at zero and the odometer does not move at all. Does anyone know a fix for this?

Were you able to advance it manually when you had it out?

My first guess is the second gear is broken or the repair swap didn't go properly. OK my first two guesses.

Also, there are different gears. Thy differ by the amount of teeth they have.
