Is it normal for the tensioner (mechanical) indicator to move as the engine warms up? This is the thing that you set according to the ambient temp at time of instalation...
My guess is that it is normal.
I installed it when the outside temp was below freezing...as the engine warmed up a bit, I turned it off and had a peek at the tensioner...it had moved towards the right (warmer setting area.)
One more TB tensioner question

Yes, it is suppose to move to the right with an increase in temperature. If it's off, in a garage that is above 60 degrees (at close to room temp. as possible) you can readjust the tensioner to right in the middle with a hex or allen key.
