Also years back, I drove down around Baltimore for used 17" Amalthea's. The guy I bought the wheels from went nutz over the odd options on my car, wishing he owned the car. Sadly, the car got hit hard in the front end.
I will admit the cloth has much less of a burn during summer. I'm looking forward to the seats because they are the sport model which hug better while turning. Ive heard the T5s are very comfy.

I have the 803 in my car and it shipped with the subwoofer and 17" wheels. Both were gone when I got it,

I added an aftermarket sub (the mating plug for the subwoofer is still available aftermarket) and found some 17" wheels for the summer tires - keep the snows on the 16" that came with the car.

Stereo is very good, esp with the sub. I think some of the speakers could use a refresh (or the stereo is not as good as I hope.)

This sucker has the 803 in it! I'm gonna go look at it on Saturday. It's loaded with all the options! Manual trans, HU-803, sport seats with that extra bolstering, sunroof. They didn't specify if it had 3rd row seating and the built in booster seats. I'm pumped! I'll do the PCV and head gasket checks after I test drive it. They said it has 250k miles, no fluid leaks, cold AC.
I will be posting this other vehicle in the classifieds on here. https://dallas.craigslist.org/ftw/cto/d ... 92149.html
Not my car of course, something I found while car shopping. Does NOT have a sunroof. How weird!

Even for the 2001 T5 (TOTL) the power sunroof was a $1050 option (when ordered overseas for US delivery)...so not so weird.

We ordered one without it since we rarely used the sunroof on our previously owned 1995 850 Turbo wagon. No leaks and less electrical problems...

If you bought it, I hope you enjoy your new (really old) T5. They are a lot of fun to drive.

I don't see that you ever got an answer on the bellhousing question. The bell housing is the name for the adapter from the engine rear and the transmission itself. The engine side is generally twice the size of the transmission side giving the adapter the shape of a bell. The bell housing may be a separate part or may be part of the transmission housing. The bell housing contains the flywheel, pressure plate, and clutch.
