Smoke when letting off throttle

Hi I have a 1998 s70 glt that I put a motor in that has 113k on it I also put a rebuilt turbo in it out of a t5 at the same time the car runs fine and idles fine I also got a tune through vast tuning, whenever I accelerate and hit between 8 and 15 pounds of boost and then lift off the throttle it smokes and smells like oil, it doesn't have that sweet smell of coolant I've looked through the forums and can't find anything related I'm pretty sure it's either valve stem seals or the turbo one guy I've talked to says valve stem seals and the other said the turbo please if anyone has any advice on this let me know

Far from an expert, but I'd be looking at the PCV system first.

113k is a bit low for valve stem seals,but it also depends was the engine abused and was it maintained regularly.
Could be a turbo too.
If smoke is blue...it's the oil.
If it's black...it runs rich.
If tune wasn't done properly it could damaged the rebuilt turbo.

+1 with misha on this one. 113k is a low mileage, but then the engine is at least 20 years old and rubber hardens with age and infrequent oil changes.

Come down a long hill, like 2 km or more in 3rd gear, and mash it at the bottom.

Lots of blue smoke means stem seals

Doesn't smoke when accelerating only smokes when letting off on throttle after a higher boost pull I also got a check engine light today with the codes p0445 and p0245

P0445 is a common emission fail code. Lots of info here about it.

P0245 is a ECM error code pointing to the turbo wastegate error. I saw someone had this error and it was traced to the TCV valve having a hose disconnected. Check the TCV is connected correctly and the electrical wire and connector are good.

Does it smoke on initial start up? After it has sat overnight have somebody else start it as you stand behind the car and watch the tail pipe for smoke. If it does smoke, observe the color and smell.
