2012 S60 T5 rebuild

Okay, I know that you will likely think I'm nuts but I got a 2012 with a knock (still runs though) for almost nothing that is otherwise in exceptional condition. I'm going to pull the motor and have the local engine shop rebuild it. Anyone still on here with a rebuilt 2012 T5 that still works? I'm hoping that it's essential flaws are mitigated with a rebuild. Thanks for any input.

So I finished the car and it runs great but it looks like I ended up with a bit of an oil pan leak so I will need to drop the pan again. It's hard to complete that size project without a hiccup somewhere.!
