How much time and work would that save us? Tens of thousands of man hours, I'm sure.
For anyone who doesn't live/breathe Volvos, here's the explanation: driver's side seats wear out well before passenger sides... the leather.
If we could just swap driver's sides with junkyard passenger seats, life would be simple and easy. But it's not that easy to swap a L into the R driver's side.

Oh yeah. You can do zip ties but make sure you buy long ones or you will have achy breaky fingers , 8 inch aren’t too short

I really wish they were. I swapped the seats in my old Landy Cruiser left to right and once you got used to the seat adjustment being on the wrong side it wasn't too bad.
