1995 T-5R Seat Back not Reclining

I read some posts a few months back regarding the issue with the cable related to the electric seat back reclining. Mine is stuck in the driving position luckily but it cannot recline further or brought up. Having the same issue with the passenger seat.

The main concern is that both seats are in near perfect condition and the process seams very invasive having to remove a bunch of clips etc to get to the wire. I have heard that the covers will not be as form fitting again either when put back.

Does anyone have any suggestions besides just leaving them as is?

Leave as is. Don't understand why seat back covers won't fit again. I had no issues with them. They use hog rings and don't need to be fully removed to effect a repair. Drive cables just need outer sleeve shortened.

Do the motors sound like they are moving? If not then it could be a wiring issue.
