Re: Tuneup/spark plug question
Nothing is better than Volvo plugs.
There are some members who have great experience with NGK irridium plugs, but i never used them.

Re: Tuneup/spark plug question
My experience has been that you start to get random misfires somewhere ~150k miles or so. At that point, you can troubleshoot to figure out which one is giving you random misfires, and replace it and be good. Of course, the others all have the same heat cycles and miles on them, and will be similarly failing, so my preference is to just replace all of them together. Then I don't have to repeat the troubleshoot-and-replace procedure again and again, and I can have more expectation of reliability.

Re: Tuneup/spark plug question
I did all new coils somewhere between 140-160k miles and had my first failure at 250k miles
If you want to drive trouble free, PM model I would replace at 100k miles and expect multiple failures by 150k miles

Re: Tuneup/spark plug question
Well the C70 has 144K on it and I assume the OEM coils that are in it are original, the previous owners did not seem to maintain anything properly nor with OEM parts.
