Turning my key for a few seconds for the car to start

Post by 1998s70GLT »

Hello everyone,

I have a 1998 S70 GLT. Last week, I took off all of the accessories to replace the AC Condenser wherein upon putting everything back on, the car did not crank over right away.

I held the key in the start position and then the car started.

Since then, when I start the car cold, it starts right up but if I have been driving, it cranks and then starts up, but not right away. I intend to change the spark plugs and hope to see if that fixes it, but I would like to know if you guys have had this issue and/or could it be an indication of something going bad.

Also, I was foolish and only replaced my AC compressor and not my orifice tube. I've been wondering, is it worth it to go and replace my Orifice tube and what not before charging up the system?

Thanks you guys
