2000 Volvo v70xc started cutting out under hard acceleration on top end

Post by Hardtofool »

I have had this Volvo for a while, I pulled the engine after an accident and found a shell to rebuild, it's had the saucer tps retro fit done, new delphi pump, ran like a champ until the other day, I was talking to someone about how Volvo's take abuse, until they don't anymore and refuse to cooperate. Out of the blue after I had done lots of work trying to figure out a misfire that was intermittent, plugs, coils, she started cutting out under hard acceleration. Thinking it was a boost issue I changed out the tcv, worked for a few pulls then realized it was false hope, I've been chasing it down, to no available fix I would like some feedback and input,

Thanks for the reply, I took time and logged some hours driving with vida and came to the conclusion that my potentiometer 1&2 that I had a fluctuation. The tps had already been replaced less than a year ago and went bad, should have bought a new one but figured out you can get lucky with a junk yard etm.
