The footnote 11, 12 links are listed above (posted link does not work for me).
Adding another link for the 3.2 engine- http://australiancar.reviews/Volvo_SI6_Engine.php and one for recalls- http://australiancar.reviews/reviews.ph ... 90&gen=987
I've owned my '05 (5 cyl) XC90 since new and my '08 (V8) XC90 since 2015. I've never considered either of my vehicles to be unreliable. Front suspension repetitive flex components take a "hit" because of the height and weight of the XC90 and if you do any pre-asessment of this model it's well known as are the powertrain and model years that have higher risks of failure and/or cost of repair.
I like this model enough that I own two. I would absolutely agree that if you're not stuck on the size and stature of an XC90, the 70 series is an outstanding option.
Is it true XC90 was rushed out the door and mechanically not as sound as other Volvos?
